Maki Kashiwakura
Maki Kashiwakura is Japanese and has been living between France and Japan. A trained agronomist, Maki specialized in industrial marketing in the Saint Gobain group. She then looked after the development of the Asian clientele for the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. Over a two year period, a 41% increase was recorded for the Japanese who constitute the number one foreign clientele of the store.

Maki then went on to assume the post of director of services, studies and marketing of Parissmooz, an online marketing company, and “the Parisian reference” of the Japanese Internet, awarded the “Clic d'or”, a sort of Oscars for the web. For Parissmooz, Maki developed a qualitative and quantitative wholesome methodology that permits an analysis of client and brand relationship in sales. Maki also develops corporate training programs and seminars for brands such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Thierry Mugler perfumes, Boucheron, etc.

For Braunstein Associates, Maki has produced and conducted missions on Japan for top executives and well-known European corporates on “Strategy and innovation of Japanese creations 2003”, “A strategic vision of Japan 2004”, “Consumers and consumption, creators and creations 2004”. The participants of these seminars are immersed into the Japanese model to give them a clear reading of the trends and realties of this vibrant society in the 21 st century.
